ABC’s safety programs and products help members maintain safer and more productive jobsites, one of the construction industry’s most critical needs.  In addition to training resources, ABC provides members with the Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) guide – the industry leading safety evaluation program.

ABC is a leader in apprenticeship and craft training for merit shop contractors. Through its chapters, ABC delivers programs that equip craft professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to improve their productivity and safety, and advance their careers. The delivery of services and programs varies by region.

ABC actively promotes construction as a top career choice for high school and college students. ABC chapters and members partner with schools, meet with students and instructors, and hold special events to promote careers in construction.
